Hello, I'm Winston, a five-year-old Weimaraner, though Winnie works just fine. Adapting to new faces might take me a bit of time, but once I'm comfortable, I'm a big softie who adores being close to people of any age. Despite my size and strength, I'm incredibly cautious not to disturb the little ones or trample on toys. Human food? Guilty as charged! My foster dad thinks I might need to shed a few pounds. While I get along with other dogs and cats in my foster home, my heart truly lies in cuddling up on the couch beside you rather than playing with them.
Ideally, I'm searching for a family that's largely present, familiar with Weimaraners, and has the time to guide me a bit more in training. When I have something to express – whether it's boredom or hunger – I'm not shy about vocalizing it. I'm fairly good on a leash but could use a touch more practice, sometimes forgetting my own strength.
