Willow Ivy is an amazing young lady at just 2 years old. She is sweet natured and thinks she’s a lap dog. She is great with teens, have not had her around small children. Has been living with two other dogs and became fast friends with them. Has only met a cat in passing but was more curious than anything. She is shy at first but once she warms up to you she is all cuddles and leaning on you. She loves a good chew and will help herself to whatever is nearby if the right toys aren’t handy. The point of playing fetch eludes her though she does love to run. A fenced yard would be recommended as she needs work on her recall. Same with walks, her leash manners could use some improvement when not wearing a martingale collar. She knows sit and lay down.
Her favorite treats are ice cubes and soft milkbones.
She has a sweet quirk of gently giving you her paw when she wants attention. Willow is maybe the softest dog ever, even more so than the typical silky Weim.
Other notes:
Not much of a barker past the “hey, there’s someone at the door!”
Housebroken and her cue to go out is to come stare at you intently with a “Look.”
Prefers nails clipped to filed with dremel-style tool.
Soft toys are destroyed and eaten, recommend hard toys of the indestructible variety.
