Stallion is a handsome, 3-year-old silver boy that is currently being fostered in Grand Haven, MI. Stallion came to GLWR from a shelter. This means that we don't have any history of this youngster. We believe he'd be okay with children over 10 in the home. Stallion gets along with most dogs but is not a candidate to live with cats in the home. Stallion weighs about 80 lbs and could benefit from training and working on leash manners. He would be fine as a solo dog, or okay with another fur brother or sister. Stallion loves to run and go for daily walks.

We are a volunteer run, nonprofit group whose primary mission is to help with the rescue and placement of Weimaraners in the Great Lakes region – including MI, OH, IL, IN and WI.

GLWR is a foster based rescue organization and does not have a traditional physical kennel facility like many humane societies or animal shelters. Our dogs are typically housed in family homes and cared for by their foster families until we find a forever home for them. Therefore, our process to meet dogs and to adopt may be different than a normal animal control facility, humane society or animal shelter. We work hard to match each dog with their perfect forever home.
