Solomon is a trim and very handsome 4 year old silver boy currently being fostered in Toledo, Ohio. Solomon loves to play with other dogs and would be best in a home with a fur sister or brother. He can free-roam when his foster dad is out - and likes to crash in his favorite chair. Solomon is a very affectionate dog that loves to cuddle. He's is good with children - as long as everyone in the house is aware of the Weim "knock-down" factor!

We are a volunteer run, nonprofit group whose primary mission is to help with the rescue and placement of Weimaraners in the Great Lakes region – including MI, OH, IL, IN and WI.

GLWR is a foster based rescue organization and does not have a traditional physical kennel facility like many humane societies or animal shelters. Our dogs are typically housed in family homes and cared for by their foster families until we find a forever home for them. Therefore, our process to meet dogs and to adopt may be different than a normal animal control facility, humane society or animal shelter. We work hard to match each dog with their perfect forever home.
