Shilo is a sweet two year old female Weim mix. We think she's part Labrador, but she has so many Weimaraner traits and habits that we wonder if she's a long-haired Weim experiment... Expert fetcher she is - she runs back with the ball and drops it at your feet! BONUS!!! Shilo came to GLWR directly from an emergency vet. Her family couldn't afford to pay for major surgery to remove a foreign object from her tummy so the vet performed the operation and then contacted GLWR to help find her a new safe home. Because of this, you’d have to be very diligent that she can’t get into trouble when you’re not looking! Shilo currently wears a Sporn harness on walks has her nose the ground sniffing all kinds of wonderful smells. Shilo is a professional counter surfer so nothing can be left out. She also enjoys helping herself to her foster mom's morning coffee - double cream, no sugar if you please! Shilo is a very happy girl and her tail wags non-stop. She'd be a great companion to a hiker or runner - good with kids over 10 who understand the importance of picking up toys and Lego.
Shilo needs an owner who will commit to providing a half hour of fetch and a half hour walk daily. The ideal adopter would have a home office work part-time.
