Sage is a 7 year old Silver girl - on the smaller side (60lbs) - Bonded with her sister Angel. Currently being fostered in in Grand Haven, MI. Must be adopted together. Their owner had health issues resulting in their required surrender. These girls absolutley loved their Mama and have been quite depressed since coming into rescue. They're looking for an owner who will spoil these poor things and make their days full of love and joy. If you can open your home and heart to these two sisters - they'd be forever grateful.

We are a volunteer run, nonprofit group whose primary mission is to help with the rescue and placement of Weimaraners in the Great Lakes region – including MI, OH, IL, IN and WI.

GLWR is a foster based rescue organization and does not have a traditional physical kennel facility like many humane societies or animal shelters. Our dogs are typically housed in family homes and cared for by their foster families until we find a forever home for them. Therefore, our process to meet dogs and to adopt may be different than a normal animal control facility, humane society or animal shelter. We work hard to match each dog with their perfect forever home.
