Oakley is a very energetic young Weim who loves to play with toys and bones. Oakley is smart - took her about 30 seconds to figure out how to use the doggie door. She can free roam during the day no problem. Her favorite pastime is watching squirrels through the living room picture window! Oakley would do best in a home as the only dog with an owner(s) who works from home, or out of home part-time. Adopters with previous Weim experience will only be considered for Oakley as she can sometimes exhibit resource guarding. Oakley will be very protective of your home. Oakley must be properly introduced to new people or dogs - slowly and outside. Adopters without children or cats will only be considered. Oakley will need daily exercise - minimum of an hour per day. A runner; committed walker or hiker would be ideal. At night Oakley likes to sleep completely covered up in her cocoon bed. Some nights, all you can see is the tip of her nose. Oakley is a beautiful Weim, on the smaller side at 65 pounds.
