KayTee’s journey is one of resilience and transformation. After spending her early life in a Missouri puppy mill, she came to GLWR and delivered healthy puppies who’ve all found loving homes. Now it’s her turn
When she arrived, KayTee was heartworm positive—but thanks to treatment and lots of TLC, she’s recovering beautifully and learning how to be a companion dog. She’s currently with her foster mom in Crossville, Tennessee, and we’re hoping someone nearby might be her perfect match. If not, she’ll head north to Michigan for continued foster care until her forever home is found. What KayTee Loves: Soft beds and sunny windows (she’s a southern girl who loves her sunshine!) Toys, treats, and snuggles, Other dogs—especially small ones and puppies! She’s gentle, playful, and incredibly patient
What She Needs: a loving home with adults who understand the importance of routine, one or two other dogs to help her continue learning how to be a dog
Kaytee is shy at first, but once she warms up, she’s a total sweetheart. She’s becoming more of a “typical Weim” every day—doing all the silly, lovable things that make us adore them. Let’s help this beautiful girl find the forever home she deserves.
