Jack Henry is a 10.5 year old silver boy who is currently couch-surfing in Willoughby, Ohio and would really like a permanent place to crash! Jack is a 10 year old male Weim who has unfortunately lived the first 10 years of his life outside. Imagine. Since coming into GLWR, Jack now knows what it's like to live in a warm home with 3 squares and snacks. Thanks to his ever-loving foster Mom Sara, Jack has mastered potty training! Good boy Jack! For an older guy, he is strong and has a good amount of energy. He enjoys running around in a fenced in back yard and playing with other dogs. However, he quickly settles down to an evening on the couch watching tv. He’s so happy to be next to his person/people! He has just started to play with his dog toys inside after watching his foster dog siblings. He enjoys making the toys squeak and is learning how to play fetch. He enjoys a bone or stuffed toy to chew on. He does like to stay close to follow his person/people to see what they are up to as they move through the house. Jack is crate trained and initially was placed in the crate while his foster mom was working (8-4), but is now able to be free roaming while his foster mom is at work with no accidents/issues during that time. He did sleep in the crate for first few nights at foster home, but he has adjusted well to sleeping in bed with foster mom and doesn’t leave the bed during the night. He’s just so happy to snuggle and stay close! Jack could be in a home as an only dog or in a home with dog siblings - pending a meet and greet. He is a good eater and quickly eats his 2 meals a day. He enjoys his treats as well! Jack is a wonderful dog and he absolutely deserves a wonderful home. We can’t wait for him to find his family! If you have room in your heart and home for Jack - please fill out an application today. He's a great boy who deserves love and warmth.
