Gemma is a sweet 6-year-old girl who has been through so much, yet all she wants is love and attention. Her gentle, affectionate nature shines through in everything she does. She adores playing with her dog friends, happily digging through toy bins to find her next favorite treasure. Whether she’s going for a walk or exploring the yard, Gemma loves being outside—especially when she can chase away birds, bunnies, or even deer.
Gemma is incredibly loving, loyal, and enjoys meeting new people. She also loves car rides and travels like a pro, making her a wonderful companion for adventures big or small.
This brave girl is truly a tough cookie. Earlier this year, Gemma underwent surgery to remove a large benign fatty mass she had when she came into rescue. Thanks to the care she received, a significant portion was successfully removed, greatly improving her comfort and quality of life. Despite a remaining imperfection, Gemma doesn’t let anything slow her down—she’s happy, playful, and full of life.
She loves romping around with her foster sisters and brings joy wherever she goes. Gemma’s resilience, sweet spirit, and loving heart make her a truly special dog who is ready to share her life with a forever family.
