He has a playful spirit and enjoys rummaging through his toy box picking out his favorites, like his absolute fave wooden chew block (a must have for him), often serenading his family with his Bing Crosby-like croons. His tail is always wagging, even in his sleep, showing his constant joy and affection.
Dog and Kid Friendly: Douglas is friendly with other dogs, especially larger ones, though he has lived harmoniously with a smaller dog. He is a bit of a "pied Piper" to the younger dogs and they love following their "uncle Douggie" around the yard on his sniffing strolls! He is also good with kids, particularly those over 10 years old, making him a wonderful family companion for a family with an older set of children. Due to his size he can be a bit overwhelming for little ones.
