Beautiful and extremely loving 1.5 year old silver male - currently being fostered in Grand Haven, Michigan. Can be a solo dog if he's left for only short periods of time; or live with other dogs in the home. Blu's new owner must have Weim experience and commit to daily execise. He's a typical Weim who loves to counter surf, loves car rides and knows how to press the button to roll down his own window. CHILD LOCKS must always be on.
Blu will play fetch in a fenced in yard - and loves to carry around his Ducky. This is so ironic as he absolutely loves water and being on a boat. He gets very excited about going on a walks - he's a puller - but with some consistent training he can improve. He is eager to learn and is very motivated to do so with treats. Blu is great with other dogs and playing with friends is his favorite hobby - other than having a nap on the couch with you! Blu takes quickly to women and children, yet leary with men - Blu's owner needs to understand that he was mistreated early in life and needs time to learn to trust. As a result of being mistreated; Blu is "head shy". Movement above; or near his head will cause him to snap.
