Hi! My name is Benjamin! I am a 2-year old silver purebred silver Weim looking for a home to call my own. I am a little on the smaller side for a Weim, but what I lack in size, I make up for in personality. I can be a little pushy and bossy with other dogs so I need a dog in my home that will keep me in line a bit but not be overly alpha or aggressive. I am a lover not a fighter but my Foster Mom says that I can be like an annoying little "gnat" around other dogs as I do not always understand doggie spatial boundaries. I do like to play though and would enjoy another canine companion to hang out with. Mom says I need a canine sibling that can teach me some better dog-dog manners! I am submissive to my people and really want to please and am more comfortable following a confident "hoo-man" who is the leader of the pack! I was surrendered to GLWR because I was too worried about protecting my people and they did not have the environment or the skills to help me learn how to respond when meeting new folks. I just didn't understand my role in my home. My foster Mom says I have really come a long way and with the right home, patience, training, love, and snuggles I can finally let my guard down and be my true Weimaraner self! If you want a fun loving, snuggle bug little fella that wants to be your best bud than I am the guy for you. Mom says that I am extra special so my family needs to be extra special too!
