Josie is a sweet, energetic 1-year-old Weimaraner with tons of personality and a playful spirit. She is a smart girl who loves the water, car rides, and spending time with both people and other dogs.
Josie is continuing to learn what structure and boundaries mean. In her foster home, she enjoys chasing and playing with her foster dog siblings and is learning how to settle into a routine. Once she gets comfortable and calms down, Josie loves nothing more than cuddling with her people.
She enjoys walks and is making great progress with her leash skills and training. Like many young Weimaraners, Josie has plenty of energy and loves to jump and play, so she would do best with a family who is patient, active, and committed to continuing her training. Because of her exuberance, children over the age of 10 would be the best fit.
Josie has never been around cats, so we believe she would be happiest in a cat-free home.
Josie is looking for a family who will give her the structure, patience, exercise, attention, and continued training she needs to thrive.
