Meet Beau, a 6-year-old neutered male Weimaraner who truly lives up to his nickname, “Sir Beau.” He is quite possibly the sweetest, chillest Weimaraner we’ve ever had the pleasure of fostering.
Beau is a true gentleman with impeccable house manners. He can be trusted to roam freely when left alone — no messes, no mischief, no curiosity-driven raids. He’s calm, respectful, and thoughtful in everything he does.
This handsome boy loves people deeply. When someone leaves the house, he may sit by the front door or window and let out the softest little “whisper whine,” just to let you know he misses you. A little reassurance and companionship go a long way for him — he simply wants to be near his people.
Beau isn’t especially food motivated and will even politely decline treats he’s not interested in. What does motivate him? Connection. He loves a good snuggle and will happily climb onto the couch or bed to soak up affection.
He’s done wonderfully in an unfenced yard, following the lead of his foster siblings and respecting boundaries. He’s also met pet birds — including a large talking parrot — and was curious but gentle and non-aggressive. Beau would do great with small humans too, as he’s incredibly gentle and deliberate in his movements.
One of Beau’s favorite pastimes is sitting at the big front window, quietly watching the world go by. He rarely barks, even when visitors arrive — he usually just observes politely from the front room.
Beau’s heart is as big as his stature. He would thrive in a home where he can simply be part of the family. He’s happiest with low-key days, steady companionship, and being close to his people. No marathon walks or constant entertainment needed — Beau just wants to be with you.
