Axel is a 6-year-old silver-blue Weimaraner who’s discovering the joys of indoor life after spending much of his life outdoors. He’s learning that people are pretty great and is quickly getting the hang of being part of a family.
This handsome, gentle guy gets along wonderfully with his furry foster siblings and enjoys going for walks, sniffing out squirrels, and lounging around the house. Axel is a fairly chill companion, though he sometimes gets a little anxious at night — something his foster family is helping him work through.
He’s potty trained, loves a good antler to chew on, and is learning more every day about the comforts of home life. Axel would thrive in a patient home that can continue to help him build confidence and experience the good life he deserves.
