🐾 Meet Willow Ivy! 🐾

Willow is a sweet and lovable 2-year-old pup who is ready to find her forever home. She  may not have all her training down yet, but her mild-mannered personality and keen attention make her a joy to be around. Willow knows how to sit and lay down, and while she’s getting the hang of walking on a leash, she does pull a bit, even with her chain martingale collar but adding an anti-pull harness will have her walking like a dream in no time!

✨ Personality:

• Mild-mannered and pays attention
• Can get excited and jump but listens well
• Hardly barks at all

🐶 Great With:

• Other dogs (loves her canine buddies!)
• Kids (loves children)
• Hasn’t been tested with small animals or cats yet

🍽️ Food & Treats:

• She’s a bit of a food snorker and counter surfer, but she takes “no” well
• Loves treats but isn’t highly food motivated
• Does not know what to do with a ball but loves to chew on any toy or bone

🏡 Ideal Home:

• Fenced yard is recommended as she needs work on her recall, However, leashing commitment and continued  recall training will open up her containment world
• Family who can help her improve her leash manners and understands that young weims need clear and consistent boundaries and expectations

💖 Additional Info:

• Willow has a sweet quirk of gently giving her paw when she wants attention
• She’s possibly the softest dog ever, even more so than the typical silky Weim
• She’s housebroken and her cue to go out is to come stare at you intently with a “Look”
• Prefers nails clipped to filed with a dremel-style tool
• Soft toys are destroyed and eaten, so hard toys of the indestructible variety are recommended
• Currently eating 2 cups twice a day of Nature’s Recipe Lamb and Rice (previous owner indicated she had some negative reactions to chicken)
• Not much of a barker past the “hey, there’s someone at the door!”
