Meet Winnie and Willow, a heartwarming bonded pair of Weimaraner females looking for their forever home! Winnie, the matriarch at 13 years old, is a beautiful blue lady who adores spending time with her daughter, Willow. Willow, an elegant 8-year-old silver beauty, shares her mom's love for stuffed animals and bones.

Winnie enjoys car rides, though she’s more of a couch potato these days, while Willow still has plenty of playful energy to share. Together, they make the perfect pair, balancing relaxation and fun. Winnie is seeking a peaceful, relaxing home to enjoy her golden years, and Willow is right by her side, ready to join in on all the love and snuggles.

This dynamic duo must be adopted together, as their bond is truly special. They will fill your home with love, companionship, and a touch of playful fun. If you have a quiet, loving home and are ready to open your heart to two wonderful dogs, Winnie and Willow are waiting to meet you!

We are a volunteer run, nonprofit group whose primary mission is to help with the rescue and placement of Weimaraners in the Great Lakes region – including MI, OH, IL, IN and WI.

GLWR is a foster based rescue organization and does not have a traditional physical kennel facility like many humane societies or animal shelters. Our dogs are typically housed in family homes and cared for by their foster families until we find a forever home for them. Therefore, our process to meet dogs and to adopt may be different than a normal animal control facility, humane society or animal shelter. We work hard to match each dog with their perfect forever home.
