Hi, my name is Miles! If you are looking for a calmer weim (bet you didn’t believe they exist!), I’m your guy. I love to snuggle and be near my people. The vet estimates I am 7-8 years old.
I’m shy to new experiences, so please be patient and give me positive reinforcement to build my confidence. A quiet home is preferred, as sudden loud noises and movements startle me. My favorite pastime after napping is retreating to my bed to “nook” on my blanket. I prefer to sleep on my bed in the living room and will come find you to wish you a good morning!
So far in my cozy foster home, I have learned my name, how to climb stairs, walk on a leash, and I just nailed the “sit” thing. I am housetrained and will squeak to let you know if it’s urgent. Did I mention I am a well-behaved people pleaser?
I interact well when meeting self-assured dogs, and I’d love an owner to help me grow my doggy friendship circle. If you already have a well-trained dog, I learn from model behavior. I like to go on leashed walks around the neighborhood and really enjoy running a few laps around our fenced yard. I can’t wait to meet you!
