Mikey is a young 4 year old loving guy. He’s very smart, playful, and has basic commands like "sit" and "stay" down pat, but will require further training. Mikey loves his people and loves to cuddle. He loves to please and is treat motivated. He walks well on a leash and enjoys dog parks & hiking. Mikey enjoys playing with the 3 dogs in his foster home. Because of this, we feel that he'd be best in a home with a fur sibling and with children 10+ years of age with Weim experience and the time and patience for additional training. Mikey is able to free-roam when left on his own and doesn’t like to be crated for long periods. Mikey has done well learrning how the wireless fencing system works in his foster home and he knows the boundaries well. He doesn’t like to go very far; however if he sees people, he wants to bark and meet them. He’s not a barker noramlly, but will do so if he feels threatened by another dog he hasn't had the pleasure of meeting. Mikey is being fostered in Wisconsin.
