Meet Woody! This handsome hunk will take as much love and attention as you can give him with his tail wagging a mile a minute the entire time! He is pretty chill as weimaraners go. He loves to show off his leash skills and accompany you on a walk but is also content to snuggle with you on the couch, bed, floor, chair...you get the picture! He will be your shadow and follow you everywhere just in case you want to pet him some more (which also means you will never go to the bathroom alone again!). Unfortunately, Woody was not kept on preventative heartworm medicine and tested positive once he came into the rescue. He has been an outstanding patient and is in the home stretch with the final, and toughest, month of treatment ahead. Woody does show a little resource guarding with other dogs when it comes to food and sometimes his favorite humans. It has been easily corrected, but he would do best in a home without other pets or small children, who might compete his human's attention.
